Pregnancy care
When should I see a doctor during pregnancy?
It is usually advised to meet an obstetrician as soon as you think you may be pregnant, so the pregnancy can be confirmed and a check-up plan made. Regular antenatal check-ups follow. Your doctor will tell you what is right for you.
What is a high-risk pregnancy?
It means a pregnancy that needs extra monitoring because of conditions such as gestational diabetes or preeclampsia. Our high-risk pregnancy care speciality supports these situations. Only your doctor can say whether your pregnancy needs this.
Which symptoms should make me contact the doctor quickly?
Heavy bleeding, severe pain, a strong headache with vision changes, reduced baby movement, or leaking fluid are commonly advised reasons to seek care promptly. If you are worried about anything, call us and do not wait.
Deliveries
Do you handle both normal and C-section deliveries?
Yes. Our obstetricians provide normal and C-section deliveries, with 24/7 delivery support.
Normal delivery or C-section: who decides?
The choice depends on the health of the mother and baby and how the pregnancy is progressing. Your obstetrician will explain the options and recommend what is safest for you. Our article on normal delivery vs cesarean section is a good starting point.
Fertility
Do you treat infertility?
Yes. Our Infertility & Reproductive Care speciality offers assisted reproduction services including IUI, IVF and fertility counseling.
When should a couple seek fertility advice?
Many doctors suggest seeking advice if pregnancy has not happened after a year of trying, or sooner in some situations. A consultation can help you understand next steps. Read our guide on when couples should seek medical help, then talk to our doctor.
After delivery
Do you offer postnatal and newborn care?
Yes. Our postnatal and newborn care speciality supports mothers with recovery, breastfeeding and wellness, and guides new parents on caring for the baby.
